Gradatimo’s local-first approach is designed to keep authoring under your control.

Local authoring

The core application is designed to create tutorials on your computer without a mandatory online account, subscription, or cloud workspace. Publishing files to a website is your choice.

Portable projects

A .gradatimo file contains the editable tutorial project and related material. Project files can be moved between computers and kept in your normal backup system.

Redaction deserves extra care

Permanent masking is intended to replace selected pixels within the project and propagate into current project derivatives. It does not erase old files that have already left the project.

Always check the published output. Consider names, private folders, email addresses, account numbers, notifications and other information visible in screenshots.

Website privacy vs application privacy

This website has no analytics script, tracking pixels, or client-side tracking cookies in the delivered code. The hosting provider can still process normal server logs, and external download destinations may have their own practices. See the website privacy notice.
